Q From An Old "newbie" Re. My PC

Everyone I've talked to has said something different about this. Can I leave my unit in the "sleep" mode or should I turn it off & restart ea. morn? 4 or 5 hrs I know is OK, but what about overnight? Thanks in advance. I'd like to just let it run if it won't harm it.

I probably know less than anyone on here regarding my computer however this has come up quite a few times and i don't know if anyone has the same answer. I know for the last eight years i have left mine on all night and have had no problems. I've also had about four notebooks in that time, but i like new and faster about every two years.I don't know that i ever turn mine off except to clean or travel.

Its perfectly fine to leave it in sleep mode, nothing will happen at all.
The longest i had a pc running was almost 830 days in a row!
That shit is still chugging along to this day
